Stuttering problem on my 2018 Africa Twin

I recently bought a 2018 Africa Twin. The bike is a blast to ride, it is smooth, powerful, and fun on the highway and trails. The only issue I have is that under aggressive acceleration it sometimes stutters right at 6000 rpm, almost like it's starving for fuel and about to stall. Has anyone else run into this problem or found a fix?

Could be a fueling issue, clogged injector or dirty filter but a lot of Africa Twin riders have traced that exact 6k stumble to ECU mapping, maybe a reflash or updated map will clear it right up. I'd check fuel delivery first, then look into ECU updates if everything else checks out

Since it's a 2018 model, was yours taken for the recall Honda had about the fuel system? If I remember correctly, there was something that could clog the filter, so it would have those symptoms.

I'll start by checking the fuel system for anything clogged, then see if there's an ECU update or reflash option

I'll check if mine was covered under that recall. If it wasn't done, that could definitely explain the stumble at 6k. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction
